Yet our tellers got vacation, health, dental, vision, interest rate reductions on loans and starting wages of $8. I can understand your frustration and your anger. First of all most of the people that work for Wal-Mart because of the low pay qualify for some State Aid programs, who pays for these we the tax payer.

I've also worked for my Dad's truck bedliner business, a green bean factory, my college cleaning staff, and at a Midwestern grocery/department store chain called Meijer.
The fact that they do pay better than minimum wage and 53% of Wal-Mart employees choose to get their health insurance through Wal-Mart means that the taxpayers are actually SAVING money thanks to Wal-Mart. Do you understand this now? If you earn $17,000 per year at Wal-Mart, the free market has dictated that $17,000 is what that job is worth. America is up in arms about Wal-Mart sweat shops, but what abouth the working poor in or Country? I have seen Mangers talk to Associates they tell them that they have no right to think just do what Wal-Mart tells you, if you can not do the work some else will, before are of you pro-Wal-Mart people start the amount of work they give Department Manager and in stock workers can not be done in 8 hours of which you may be called to another Department or on the registers for half your shift, I have no complaints about the Managers at the Store I worked at they left me alone.
